Clay Clocks

Pottery Course
Practicioner: Toby Steedman
(Making) Monday 13th December | 4:30pm to 6:30pm
(Glazing) Tuesday 21st December | 4pm to 5:30pm

Tick tock. What better way to usher in the New Year than with your very own hand-made wall clock?

Students will hand make and glaze the clock face, with emphasis on hand-building three-dimensional numbers, as well as creating rich patterns and decorations. The trainee clock makers will be able to choose between a variety of different styles of hands for their clocks or even make their own!

This class is over two sessions to allow the clay to dry and have a biscuit (first) firing. They will return after a week for the glazing session after which the clocks will have be glaze fired and be ready for collection roughly 24 hours later, just "in time" for Christmas!

Not only that: the batteries ARE included!
