Art Clubs

Kids arts and crafts workshops are at the heart of what we do. Whether its building or making an object from scratch, recycling and re-imagining everyday items, or getting immersed in a new skill or artistic style - we have the course for it!

We can guarantee that whether it be carving, brushing, drawing, mixing, scratching, stitching, snapping, binding, weaving or snipping these will be real skills being taught by top craftspeople, artists and professionals: this is not glitter and glue but real art and craft.

Check out our full schedule of weekend and holiday workshops and our popular after-school clubs.

Over the course of the 10 week term, kids will build textiles projects using multiple techniques - from dying and printing fabrics to sewing their designs. Kids will be introduced to fabric printing and dye techniques, so that pieces dyed one week will be used for sewing the next. In this way, they will design their pieces in entirety and have the satisfaction of making something from beginning to end. Students will learn about sustainable fabric and dye techniques, only using natural/recycled fabrics throughout.

Each child can bring their own sewing machine or work on one of ours and will learn to become confident with their sewing skills. All whilst having some fun and meeting new friends! The Seamsters club takes place in our studio in the heart of Barnes village and is a wonderful opportunity for them to unwind after school and learn new, creative skills. The club has a maximum of 7 kids per class, so that each child can expect to have lots of personal attention. Homemade biscuits and refreshments will be provided each week.
