Kids arts and crafts workshops are at the heart of what we do. Whether its building or making an object from scratch, recycling and re-imagining everyday items, or getting immersed in a new skill or artistic style - we have the course for it, so come along and explore!
We run regular after-school clubs as well as holiday camps and stand-alone arts and crafts activities.
Make some time for you: discover a lost talent or nurture a new skill with our range of craft and arts events. From our beautiful studio space in the heart of Barnes, we aim to teach skilled arts and crafts in a relaxed environment perfect for beginners or experienced artists.
Choose from a programme of seasonal classes or one of our weekly clubs. What are you waiting for?
Whether it's trying out a new skill or returning to long neglected passions or pastimes, Wurkshop hopes to help enthusiasts of all ages find the time and space to usher art and craft back into their busy lives.
Take the time to try something different. Break the habit of your regular week by challenging yourself to learn something new and discover dormant skills or undiscovered talents.
Find a safe haven in our Mews studio in the heart of Barnes. Join a club or pop along to one of our one-off events. Buy a course for the kids, treat yourself or come as a family to one of our mixed age courses. Something for everyone.
Are we "tucked away", "hidden" or "blooming impossible" to find? Whatever your view, we do appreciate we're hard to find the first time you try.
Remember that, despite the postal address, we're off Bracken Gardens not Church Road. Aim for Church Road Garage, walk around the metal pole barrier and right to the back of the yard. You'll find the studio nestling in the furthest corner of the yard.
From Hammersmith Bridge take the 209, 33, 485 and alight at Red Lion. We're only a two minute walk from the stop.
From Putney take the 485, 378 or take the 22 to The Spencer Arms and walk across Barnes Heath (15 minutes).
From Richmond / Sheen take the 33 / 72 to Red Lion.
Both Barnes Station and Barnes Bridge are around a 10 minute walk. These lines run regularly to and from Waterloo.
Please be aware that Hammersmith Bridge will be closed for the foreseeable future to motorised traffic (and occasionally foot traffic too), which has greatly increased the time it takes to get from Central and North London to Barnes.
Please allow plenty of time to get to us and please do call if you'd like any help.
